It's been a while since I've updated my pictures. I just didn't take any snapshots in 2004. This year, I've had a few hair emergencies. I overmoisturized, causing my locks to slip. There were little hair balls falling off of them and the ends got really stringy. Blenna had to cut off what seems like three inches to me. Then my locks started breaking off. When I first started retightening my own hair, I didn't follow the locking pattern for my hair type. I finally got the hang of it but the damage was done. A weak spot in the locks developed and they broke at that point. Blenna was able to work her magic and she saved a good portion of them. While she was correcting that emergency, she showed me that I had not been properly incorporating my new growth causing my locks to thin. In my defense, my hair has a really, really tight curl pattern and shrinks down to millimeters when it is in fact a couple of inches long. We are still working through that issue. If you click on the second picture, you'll see why I'm smiling so big in the third one. The last one is me with my hubby on vacation in Chile. We ran into a group of school kids at a museum who were really impressed with my hair. We also visited Argentian and Brazil.
